How to clean tiles and grout
Tile itself is easy to clean; the real trouble is grout and limescale left by water.

Everyday care
Add a little dish soap to warm water, wipe with a sponge, rinse with clean water and squeegee off the water. Tile wiped dry does not build up scale.
Limescale
A 1:1 spray of vinegar and water dissolves scale. Leave for 10-15 minutes and wipe. Vinegar is not suitable for natural stone and marble.
Grout
- Make a paste of baking soda and water.
- Apply it to the grout and leave for 15 minutes.
- Scrub with an old toothbrush.
- Rinse with clean water and wipe dry.
Safety
Never mix chlorine products with vinegar or other acids: toxic gas is released. Ventilate the bathroom while cleaning.
