How to clean windows without streaks
Streaks usually come from washing in the sun, using too much product and the wrong cloth.

When to wash
Wash on a cloudy day or when the sun is not hitting the glass directly, otherwise the product dries fast and leaves streaks.
Preparation
- Wipe the frame and sill free of dust.
- Mix 2-3 drops of dish soap into a litre of warm water, or use 1:1 water and vinegar.
- Get a sponge, a squeegee and a microfibre cloth.
Steps
- Wet the glass well with the sponge.
- Draw the squeegee from top to bottom, wiping the blade each time.
- Wipe the edges with dry microfibre.
- Wipe the frame and seals with a damp cloth.
High and panoramic windows
Do not work on panoramic or hard-to-reach windows without safety support: it is safer to leave them to professionals.
