How to remove limescale
Baku has hard water, so limescale builds up fast. Simple acids dissolve it.

Kettle
Add 1-2 tablespoons of citric acid per litre of water, boil, leave for 30 minutes and rinse well.
Tap and shower head
- Pour vinegar into a plastic bag.
- Tie the bag over the tap or shower head.
- Leave for 1-2 hours.
- Scrub with a brush and rinse.
Shower glass and tiles
Spray a 1:1 mix of water and vinegar, leave for 10-15 minutes, wipe and squeegee dry.
Rust
Spread a paste of citric acid on rust marks and rinse after 30 minutes. Stubborn rust needs special products.
What not to do
Do not use vinegar on marble and natural stone. Do not mix it with chlorine products.
